The lecture by Richard Stallman took place in the Holiday Inn hotel in Skopje in a hall filled to the last seat. But the debate continued well after the planned three hour event and Q&A session. More and more questions were quickly submitted online.

The twitter tag # rmsmk was quite active, and one of the editors of it.com.mk commented on the lecture and messages of Stallman. The text initiated a discussion and attracted numerous comments.

Stallman’s lecture was summarized in the Saturday edition of the daily newspaper Nova Makedonija in a text titled "An inspiring lecture by Richard Stallman in Skopje”.
